I think he may have gotten this from Petal the Puli although he only lived with her from birth to 8 weeks. She was exactly the same only it was fun to torture her after she'd spent all that time 'hiding' something by going "WOW! Look at what *I* found!" and picking it up to inspect it. She'd take it and spend a bunch of time 're-hiding" it. I'll have to find out if any of his siblings do this. Too cute though - he's so 'clever' at hiding stuff! Oh dear.
