This is our first month on the road. Sorry. No funny Mungo stories today. Instead it’s a boring serious one. This place has people on stilts and very noisy frogs. Here are some pictures of each.
Sorry, I can’t get any closer. Where we are now dogs live on the roof instead of in a house. We are currently in a RV park that doesn’t welcome children (us) to it, for it is a reserve too and kids supposedly mess it up. Lucky for us, they haven’t punted us out yet. We are taking Spanish school. The first day was really awesome!! Me, Sara (with her nose finally out of my book) an our teacher were hungry so we went out for quesadillas (CASE-uh-deeiz) that were awesome!! The next day Dad quit saying “I’m not going to learn anything.” but it was good anyway. It was game work game work game. Today was work game work work work.

Sara and I have currently been-oof choke- fighting over books. They are very rare and-Sara, sto-gag-p!-as I was saying, they are rare in the van and Sara is continuously stealing the book that I-Sara, shut up-am reading. Oh look the battle ended and I can write without fighting at the same time! how convenient!! We bought new iPods and cameras, so I am content again. Oh, and another thing-Sara still has my book still. Sara & I found some frogs and-yes frogs-were racing them. I was winning with a champion a small, fast frog I named Superfrog until Sara found a super -fast frog faster than Superfrog the mighty speedster!! Then I forfeited and Sara won. Oh, well. Okay, look, I know I’ve been writing very little posts lately but nothing much has been happening. Same old thing, Mungo snoring on the floor, Mom writing a post, Sara and Dad reading. Oh, Mungo just decided that he wasn’t comfy! He has to go in a circle and lay down facing the other direction. Hee, hee! He’s so funny sometimes!!

Large dog,, huh? It’s real!(Just kidding!!) Kings Have lots of pride, and so does Mungo!! Tat’s cause he’s a king!!! King Mungo is asleep on the floor taking up the whole entire lower floor of the van. Right now the third beast(Sara) is being VERY ANNOYED with the offline Spanish teacher. You have to count to five in a normal voice and do the rest with the same voice, which Sara wasn’t doing. Mom and Dad are trying to put a new screen on a mesh window and; Oh look, Mungo woke up!! Email me at hulagon@gmail.com
He is running across the sand. Very happily he runs off. Suddenly, the Salt Monster of Salt Lake closes in on us from Mungo’s direction. Then, it was over. The Salt Monster disappeared into the lake and Mungo came galloping out of the lake and crashed. We found some pawprints
and decided to follow them. Oh, no!! The Salt Monster!! Luckily, it didn’t see us. But when it did, it stood on it’s den and roared!! ?? It went to the van with us. Then the Salt Creature fell asleep on the driver’s seat.
Everyone in the US is very fat. We are the only skinny people around!! Back in Canada, everyone is skinny. But that’s Canada!! We are in the US!!! Luckily, we are camping in a place with Internet. I can post on my blog. Do you know how to get there?? Go to www.mungoeatsla.ca. Then click Sean’s Blog (if your not already there). Old Faithful is huge. It looks like a little hill-until it erupts!! When it did, a lot of 4/5 year-olds wanted to leave! We waited an hour for this!! We couldn’t miss it. Oh, and if you don’t know what Old Faithful is, its a geyser. A geyser is a hot spring that is so hot it explodes. Sara wanted to look into the scalding hot water. Too bad she didn’t. Once in Yellowstone we stopped at a hot spring and Mungo decided to find out what was boiling so he stuck his snout through the fence and the wind blew all the sulfur-smell into it. That was too much for him and he tried to pull us back to the van. Ha, ha, ha!! He couldn’t take the terrible smell! So we took King Mungo back and resumed driving.
